For many years, back into the 70s even, I have wanted to put together a model train layout. There have been several false starts which for one reason or another never made it past the planning stage. Once there was even a baseboard built and even trains ran on it. But things got in the way and that is also just a memory.
One of my long held dreams was to build this layout that I found in a Rail book back in the 80s.
Here's the actual plan of the layout.
Now, thanks to T-Trak I might just have a chance of getting something done about my obsession.
T-Trak started in Japan, was brought to the USA and is also spreading in Australia. It is an N Gauge modular system with the standard module being just 310mm wide and 300mm deep. The module will have at least 2 tracks on in a standard location and these tracks will clip into other tracks on other modules and so together the modules will make a full layout. Here are some resources to tell you more about the T-Trak system and what is possible.
